FTTT Core Network Engineer
Recently I had been shifted in our internal FTTT Core department having the responsibilities to Managed Services/Bandwidth for Wateen-Telenor Project. Configure the rings for cell sites, monitor them, PM for these site and troubleshoot them during fault occurrence were included in my responsibilities.
Executive ENOC
As a network support executive with Wateen Telecom I have an interaction with corporate customers to resolve L2 & L3 VPN network and Internet problems at access level or assigning the issues to field teams. Different tools/NMS (Opmanager, Cacti Graph, SolarWinds and U2000) are being used to monitor the live network. Wateen Telecom is providing Data, Internet and VoIP services over different media i.e. Fiber, GPON and DVBRCS. P2P ISM and Zong 3g/4g services are also being provided to customers via Wateen in many areas.
Teaching Assistant
Affiliated as a TA in BS electrical engineering department for the "Electronic Devices and Circuits" during the whole semester with continuity of my master's study.
External Instructor
Appointed as External Instructor in BS electrical engineering department to conduct the Theory/Lab course on "Electronic Circuit Design Lab" during the whole semester with continuity of my master's study.
Customer Support Executive
Where i worked with PTCL Contact Center as a Customer Support Executive, to monitor the access networks using different Tools/Software and Data Base queries in live scenario.
Internship
Where I worked in NOC BSS , preventive and maintenance of the sites, monitoring the 2G and 3G current alarms and status of sites of Huawei, Ericsson and ZTE on OMC using different tools, U2000, M2000, NetNumen.Also to sent the down sites summary reports and many others by extracting the data from excel were included in my job.
Internship
Where I worked closely with field engineers and learnt about how to data is transmitted from one grid station to other grid station using power lines. And how the whole communication is monitored using SCADA.
